Bird Carriers Features

Fabric/Color: Lightweight hi-tech sailcloth material laminated with a layer of heavy duty fiber (higher price) in Sandy Gold or 1680-denier Nylon in Olive (both with reflective white strips on the front and black trim).

Mesh: Nylon (Optional stainless steel mesh: additional $30 as it requires hand-cut the mesh and a lot of breakage on needles as well as additional lining on the seam to avoid the sharp wire edges from cutting through the fabric or the handler's hand!)

Perch position: Four (two can be used for attaching the feed cups; there is addtional two holes toward the front of the carrier for the feed cups)

Visibility: A dense mesh is used to minimize the possibility of mosquitoes entering the carrier and avoid the bird from sinking its beek through the mesh open space. As such, visibility (to see the bird inside) throught the mesh may not be as high as bird owners desire. Please click here visibility from inside or outside to see a picture.

Carrying Method: It is BOTH a front and back carrier as well as a shoulder carrier. A level of rings for securing the straps - the middle rings are for the backpack position and the outer rings are for the front carrier position. All the straps are adjustable.

Keeping the bird entertained: There are two D-Rings on each side on the interior roof of the carrier for hanging bird toys. Please remove any toy when the carrier is in motion.

Keeping the chewie from picking on the seam: An optional set of wider panels is available to cover the joining seam of the zipper. We've learnt that some birds may pick on the stitches. See item listed below.

Comfort: The back of the carrier as well as the front/back straps are padded for your comfort.

Cleaning: The carrier can be unzipped to open up for a complete cleaning (Hand wash recommended). A removable bottom floor panel is added for daily use.

Privacy: One curtain in the exterior of each side. They can be rolled up and attached or draped down and attached. Same for the front window flap. There are two strips of 'sky light' in the back that are not covered.

Storage: The Bird Carriers sides and front can be unzipped and folded in so it's very compact and can be stored away.
